FOUNDATION

The Suara Hati Perempuan Foundation (YSHP) was formed in 2015 with Decree of The Minister of Law and Human Rights of Republic of Indonesia No. AHU – 235. AH. 02. 01. Year 2010.

The Suara Hati Perempuan Foundation exists to support, initiate and contribute to women's issues.

Empowerment of women is an effort to make women empowered or able to gain access to and control over resources, economics, politics, social, culture and other fields. It is intended that women can increase their self-confidence to play a role and actively participate in building their abilities and self-concept.

Empowering women using the power of art, culture and education.

YSHP IS LOCATED IN JAKARTA, BUT
VARIOUS PROGRAMS HAVE BEEN AND
WILL CONTINUE TO BE IMPLEMENTED AT
THE NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL
LEVELS.

OUR AGENDA

THE YSHP PROGRAM IS AN ONGOING PROGRAM THAT IS CARRIED OUT EVERY YEAR AT BOTH THE NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL LEVELS. YSHP ROUTINELY CARRIES OUT THE FOLLOWING PROGRAMS

WHY WOMEN

GENDER INEQUALITY AND INJUSTICE ARE STILL EXPERIENCED BY WOMEN. DISCRIMINATION AGAINST WOMEN IS STILL RIFE, WOMEN ARE STILL LIMITED FROM PLAYING AN ACTIVE ROLE IN VARIOUS PROGRAMS AND OTHER ACTIVITIES IN SOCIETY. GENDER-BASED VIOLENCE IS ALSO STILL VERY HIGH, WHICH NOT ONLY RESULTS IN PHYSICAL AND MENTAL INJURIES, BUT EVEN DEATH.

ESTABILISH THE WOMAN SCHOOL IN INDOESIA

ART AND CULTURE

Using the power of art and making culture as a medium of communication in conveying certain messages or meanings. Art brings together different people and helps to appreciate each other with their diversity. Art is therapy.

Variety in Art: visual arts, music arts, theater arts, dance arts and literary arts,

Activation: films, podcasts, photography, dance, poetry, art books, fairy tales, graffiti and many more

GAME CHANGER

Bringing together male and female public figures from various professions and backgrounds to speak out and work on women's issues. We believe every human being, regardless of gender, needs to work together to create harmony.

SOCIAL ACTIVITIES

Support people affected by conflict as well as natural disasters - to save their lives, and provide counseling to reduce their suffering

COLLABORATION

Collaboration with various parties, including the Government, entrepreneurs, communities, public figures, media, and other agencies in exploring art and education to voice gender equality and justice.

VOLUNTEER

We are very open to volunteers of all skill and ability levels.

TRAINING AND EDUCATION

Educate parties who need training or knowledge related to women's issues and make it a reference in making policies in related agencies.
